Engineering Division

The Engineering Division provides a variety of refrigeration technologies for a widerange of industries

Our refrigeration engineering is employed in a widerange of industrial fields. For example, the automobile environmental test equipment for simulating cruise conditions at high speed of the highly reliable automobiles and motorcycles that Japan exports to the rest of the world, integrates advanced Toyo Engineering Works refrigeration technology.

Also, our total refrigeration engineering, which covers clean room technology ensuring the right temperature, humidity and air purity to freezing and refrigerating systems used in processing and transporting food, is powerful support for a successful Japanese industry throughout the world.

Refrigeration systems using natural refrigerants

Introduction of environmentally friendly refrigeration systems using natural refrigerants such as CO2 and ammonia
C-LTS

The replacement of chlorofluorocarbons (for example,Freon) with alternatives or natural refrigerants in refrigeration systems to protect the ozone layer and prevent global warming is now under way.

Long seeing the need for a natural refrigerant to protect our global environment, Toyo Engineering Works, Ltd. has succeeded in developing a refrigeration system that uses CO2 and ammonia, which are completely natural refrigerants. We provided the refrigeration system used at the Mammoth exhibition room, at Expo 2005 Aichi, Japan and have also delivered numerous similar systems to environmentally conscious companies.

Mr. Eco Steam

Realizing significant energy-saving and cost-reduction aims and helping to reduce carbon dioxide emission levels
Mr. Eco Steam

Mr. Eco Steam is the first heat-pump-based steam and hot-water generator produced for industrial applications. This unit recovers heat from low-temperature waste hot water that would have been simply discarded in the past. The recovered heat is then used to generate steam and hot water for conversion into energy.
